Nature Works Conservancy District

WATER CONSUMPTION AND BILLING
The Valparaiso Water Department is the billing agent for Nature Works Conservancy District which serves the community of Aberdeen. Consumption is based on the water consumption readings recorded by the Valparaiso Water Department meters.

Sewer Rates

The Sewer Rate Ordinance #01-24, adopted by the Nature Works Conservancy District Board of Directors, went into effect March 1, 2024.

The Sewer Rate is based on the following criteria: 

1st Adjustment: First Full Billing Cycle after March 1, 2024

•     Base sewer rate for all users of $45.03 a month
•     An additional flow rate of $3.14 per 100 cubic feet of water usage

•     Base sewer rate for all users of $55.64 a month
•     An additional flow rate of $3.88 per 100 cubic feet of water usage

The District shall also implement and offer to the sewage works users a summer sprinkling rate reduction.
