Welcome
to the Valparaiso City Utilities - Water Department. The
department's treatment plants and distribution system of water mains,
pumping stations and storage facilities provide water to approximately
35,000 customers in the city and outlying communities. The city
water is filtered, disinfected and tested to safeguard public health.
Highly-trained personnel and modern treatment facilities ensure
that our water meets or exceeds federal and state water quality
standards.

or concerns about your Water Utility bill. Office hours are Monday
through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.. For emergencies, please
call (219) 462-6174 and your information will be forwarded to
our after-hours on-call personnel.
