When
signing up for new service, we require either DIRECT DEBIT or WATER
SECURITY DEPOSIT to complete the request. Please
review for a description of each. DIRECT
DEBIT (ACH)
A new
water utility customer can forgoe the required $50.00 water security
deposit by signing up for DIRECT DEBIT (ACH), our Automatic
Bank Payment Service. With our free Automatic
Bank Payment Service, you can have your Water and Sanitation
Bills automatically paid from any participating bank, savings and
loan, or credit union account and the $50.00 water security deposit
is waived. We would simply need your check
routing number and account number to process. WATER
SECURITY DEPOSIT
Should
you not wish to sign up for our Automatic Bank Payment Service,
we require a Water Security Deposit
of $50.00 and our Valparaiso City Utilities Service Agreement Form. Your deposit will be credited to your account after twenty-four (24) months of good payment history
or applied to your final bill. You would be responsible for all collection fees, attorneys fees, court costs, and other related charges. The

CITY UTILITIES and mailed to our office along with the completed Valparaiso City Utilities Service Agreement Form to Valparaiso

the Water Security Deposit is not received with ten (10) WORKING
