The Valparaiso Water Department is the Billing Agent for Nature Works Conservancy District, which serves the community of Aberdeen.  Consumption is based on the water consumption readings recorded by the Valparaiso Water Department meters.  The Sewer Rate Ordinance #99-1, adopted by the Nature Works Conservancy District Board of Directors, is effective November 1, 1999 and is based on the following criteria:

a).   The BASE SEWER RATE for all users is $34.40 / month.

b).   Plus a flow rate of $2.40 / 100 cubic feet of water usage.

The District shall also implement and offer to the sewage works users a SUMMER SPRINKLING RATE REDUCTION.
