Valparaiso City Utilities - Bulkwater Salesman

Welcome to the Valparaiso Water Department's Bulk Water ATM

The Bulk Water ATM allows water to be purchased in large quantities for various uses such as: landscaping, irrigation, dry wells or filling swimming pools. The unattended ATM machine is operational 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. It is well lighted and easily accessible.

All the user needs is a 2" water discharge hose with a male quick connect coupling or screw-on fitting to adapt to our connector. For the user's convenience, a hose may be purchased from the Valparaiso Water Department.

The unattended machine allows the user to purchase water at the rate of $.25 per 100 gallons with a minimum purchase of 400 gallons. Click here to view the Bulk Water Salesman ATM - Rate Schedule.

The ATM machine will accept quarters, currency and special debit cards. This ATM does not give change. Only insert as much currency as needed to make your desired purchase.

Debit cards may be obtained by making a deposit in advance at the Valparaiso Water Department Office at 205 Billings Street, Valparaiso, Indiana.

The ATM machine is equipped with a back-flow protection device to safeguard against cross contamination of the city�s water supply and has a 2" Turbo meter with no bypass to restrict flow.

Other advantages of the Bulk Water ATM include:

1. Eliminates damage to hydrants.

2. Safety factor for our community.

3. Water will be paid for in advance of dispersing the product.

4. Eliminates dirty water complaints whenever a hydrant is opened and the sediment in the mains is stirred up.

The Valparaiso City Utilities operates three (3) Bulk Water Salesmen. Bulk Water ATM Salesman #1 is located at Evans Avenue and Silhavy Road. Bulk Water ATM Salesman #2 is located at Calumet Avenue (Old 49) and Wesley Road just east of Flint Lake Plant #2.
